Ahead of AEW's Portland, OR debut on January 6th, 2023 the AEW Together team partnered with Blanchet House to make a difference in the Portland community. Blanchet House aims to assist in the transformation of lives thru compassion and dignity by offering food, shelter, and aid to all of those in need of a safe place to be nourished and restored.
Friday morning saw Action Andretti, Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis Bennett, John Silver, Alex Reynolds, Ryan Nemeth, Jay Lethal, Aubrey Edwards, Prince Nana, Red Velvet, Dasha Gonzales, and Leva Bates head to Blanchet House to learn more about how they serve the community. After the team met the staff and got a tour of the facility, they raced against each other to pack care packages for members of the community in need
Friday evening at Veterans Memorial Coliseum AEW Together asked our fans to bring packages of socks to benefit Blanchet House. Fans were able to meet and get a photo with Ricky Starks in exchange for their donation. In just an hour we were able to collect over 700 pairs of socks resulting in one of the most successful sock drives Blanchet House has ever seen.
